The Cherry Blossom van was a 1989 release. It was released again in 1991 when production was moved to China.

Livery: (Tampo)
'GIVES A QUICK AND LASTING SHINE' in red and a tin of polish with 'CHERRY BLOSSOM BOOT POLISH' in white, red and black on both sides of van.
'CHISWICK PRODUCTS LTD.' and 'CHISWICK LONDON W4' in black on both cab door sides.

Variations/Rarities: The model was made in Macau and released in 1989 with a "Matchbox © 1981 Y7 Y21 Y22 Macau" baseplate or a "Matchbox © 1981 Y35 Y21 Y22 China" baseplate can be found on the 1991 China issue.

Chinese-six: A total of 47,524 'Cherry Blossom' models were made excluding Issue 2, which is one of the "Chinese six" models.
